Panelists
Marc Mayer, C.M.
Marc Mayer is a New York-based writer and curator with a distinguished career in the art museum world. Since 2023, he has been the Director of Arsenal Contemporary Art in Tribeca. Previously, he served as Director and CEO of the National Gallery of Canada (2009-2019), Director of the Musée d’art contemporain de Montréal, and Deputy Director for Art at the Brooklyn Museum, among other notable roles. He has curated major exhibitions, including Jean-Michel Basquiat (Brooklyn Museum, 2005) and Jack Bush (National Gallery of Canada, 2014), and has published extensively on contemporary art. In 2022, he was awarded the Order of Canada for his service to the visual arts.
Jill L. Mintz
Jill Mintz has been an artist, collector, and advisor in New York City for over three decades, working with galleries, museums, and private collectors. In 2024, she joined Arsenal Contemporary Art as Director of Sales. She is the founder of Jill Mintz Fine Art, a consultancy that provides confidential guidance to collectors, helping them navigate the art world with expertise. Her affiliations include The Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum Young Collectors Council, The New Museum, and the Public Art Fund.
